Don Juan One Coat OC230

Desilo se nezamislivo - svojevoljno sam namazala najneutralniji mogući lak za nokte bez namere da ga ukrasim nekim crtežom, nalepnicom, pečatom... Od momenta kada sam videla da mi se u nagradnom paketiću nalaze oba Don Juan laka boje kože znala sam koji je za mene i oduševljena sam kako mi stoji jer ne čini da mi ruke deluju ni voštano ni upaljeno. Reč je o kremastom laku boje kože koji veoma blago vuče na ružičastu. Konzistencija mu je nešto lošija nego kod drugih One Coat lakova i ostajala su mi neobojena mesta. S druge strane, jedan sloj mi je sasvim pokrio izrasli deo, što znači da je pigmentisanost odlična. Suši se veoma brzo i, poput drugih One Coat lakova ima veoma visok sjaj.

The unthinkable happened - I willingly wore the most neutral polish without any intention to decorate it with some nail art, sticker, stamping... From the moment I realized I received both nude One Coat polishes I knew which one was made for me and I'm thrilled with how it fits me because it doesn't make my hands look neither waxy nor inflamed. This is a creamy nude that leans toward pink ever so slightly. The formula is somewhat thinner than the other One Coat polishes and I have some bald patches. On the other hand, it is highly pigmented and one coat completely covered my visible nail line. It dries fast and like other One coat polishes has very high gloss.

Moja ljubav prema magnetnim lakovima nije novost te mi je bilo lako da se, kada me je predstavnik Born Pretty Store kontaktirao, odlučim da uradim recenziju barem jednog magneta. My love for magnetic polishes is no secret so it was easy for me to pick at least one magnet to review when I was contacted by Born Pretty Store representative. Out of four magnets they offer only one has a design I don't already have, so picking that one was a no-brainer.

Moj izbor je bio magnet broj 4 - magnet sa krstastom/X šarom. Ovaj magnet se nalazi na tankom plastičnom držaču. Uputstvo za upotrebu se nalazi na poleđini magneta, a sa druge strane se nalazi šara. Sam magnet je prilično velik i odlično pokriva čak i moj nokat na palcu. Dve mi se stvari ne dopadaju kod ovog magneta. Prva je drška, koja je tanka i slabašna i savija se pod težinom magneta. Dok sam pokušavala da magnet držim za taj tanki štapić od drške, više puta mi se magnet zamazao svežim lakom. Čim sam počela da ga držim kao bilo koji drugi magnet koji nema nikakav držač, dobila sam jasnu šaru i neubrljan magnet. Druga stvar koja mi zaista mnogo smeta je što sam magnet ne pravi šaru kakva je prikazana na slici - šara nije X već +, a zbog pravuogaonog oblika magneta nisam mogla dobro da se orijentišem i da na svim noktima napravim X šaru.

My choice was magnet #4 - the magnet with cross/X design. This magnet comes on a thin plastic holder with the instructions on the back of the magnet and the design depicted on the other. The magnet itself is quite large and covers even my thumb nail. There are two things I don't like about this magnet. The first one is the thin, weak handle that bends under the weight of the magnet itself. While I tried to hold the handle, the magnet touched and smudged the fresh polish. As soon as I started to hold it the way I'd hold any other magnet without holder or handle, I got clear design and clean magnet. The other thing that really bothers me is the fact that the magnet doesn't produce the design as it is depicted on the magnet. The pattern isn't X but +, and due to the oblong rectangular shape of the magnet it was hard for me to turn it the right way in order to produce the regular X design on all nails.

Magnet sam isprobala na 11 magnetnih lakova različitih proizvođača i rezultat je prilično zanimljiv. Pratila sam uputstvo i držala sam magnet što sam bliže mogla, uvek po 10 sekundi. Mogla sam i kraće jer je magnet snažan, što se vidi na većini noktiju, ali neki od mojih lakova nisu želeli da sarađuju ili im treba više vremena da počnu da reaguju. Na jednoj slici možete videti efekat kada se magnet drži u predviđenom smeru, a na narednoj sam pokušala da ga orijentišem tako da dobijem X šaru.

I tried this magnet on 11 magnetic polishes by different brands. I followed instructions and I held magnet as close as I could without touching the polish. I always held it for 10 seconds. I could have held it for less time because the magnet is very strong, which you can see on most of my nails, but some of my polishes didn't want to cooperate/require more time. In one of the photos you can see the design when magnet is held the right way, and in the other I tried to position it in a manner that would produce X-shape.

Golden Rose Selective 48 Star Galaxy

Star Galaxy mi je stajao neisproban od februara. Iz nekog razloga se nisam mogla naterati da ga probam. Možda zbog tmurnog vremena, možda zato što sam ga kupila čisto da bih ga kupila. Golden Rose Selective lakovi imaju 16 ml, zanimljive bočice trougaone osnove i uzanu pljosnatu četkicu. U parfimeriji Kristabell koštaju 120 dinara, a verujem da su i drugde cene slične. Danas je na Ani tematski petak posvećen Golden Rose lakovima i ovo je moj izbor.

 Today is Golden Rose-themed Friday at Ana and this is my choice. Star Galaxy has been left untried since February. I just couldn't make myself try it for some reason. Perhaps because of the murky weather, perhaps because I bought it just for the sake of buying it. Golden Rose Selective nail polishes come in interesting triangular 16 ml bottles and have narrow flat brush., zanimljive bočice trougaone osnove i uzanu pljosnatu četkicu.

Ako neki lak mogu mirne duše nazvati hematit-sivim, ovo je taj lak. Za poslednju sliku sam uzela pravi hematit da pokažem sličnost boje. U pitanju je tamno-sivi lak pun sitnog metalik šimera koji čini poteze četkicom vidljivima u laku. Finiš je skoro metalik. Mazanje mi je bilo malo problematično i ostajala su mi svetlija/manje obojena mesta, mada ne mnogo upadljiva. Imam utisak da se lak suši nešto duže i da je drugi sloj mestimično povlačio lak prethodno namazan.

If there's a hematite-grey polish, it is this polish. I actually hold an actual hematite in the last photo so I could show how close the two colours are. This is a dark-grey polish filled with metallic shimmer in which the brush strokes are visible. The finish is almost metallic. The application was somewhat difficult as I had several lighter/uncoloured spots, although it isn't very visible. I have an impression that it takes more time for this polish to dry and that the second layer actually pulled the coat underneath leaving bald spots.

Don Juan One Coat OC252

Gledam ove slike i ne verujem da su na njima moji nokti. Don Juan One Coat OC252 je jarka, skoro neonska nijansa ružičaste. Ova boja toliko ne ide uz mene da sam se osećala neprijatno dok sam je nosila. Formula je nešto gušća nego kod drugih One Coat lakova i nije samonivelišuća, što mislim da se vidi na slikama. Puna pokrivenost se dobija iz jednog srednje-debelog sloja. Sjaj laka je baš visok. Lak se suši prilično brzo.

 I'm looking at these photos and I can't believe these are my nails. Don Juan One Coat OC252 is such a bright, almost neon shade of pink. It is so much out of my comfort zone that I felt unease while I was wearing it. The formula is somewhat thicker then other One Coat polishes and it isn't self-leveling, which I think is quite visible in the photos. One medium coat gives full coverage. The gloss is really high. The polish dries quite fast.

Golden Rose Holiday 60

Danas vam predstavljam drugi Golden Rose Holiday lak koji sam uzela. U predtavljanju prethodnog sam napravila grešku i napisala da među ovim lakovima nema istih boja kao u Zoya Pixie Dust kolekciji. Upravo današnji lak bi mogao biti zamena za Zoya Dahlia. Zoya Pixie Dust lakovi još nisu uvezeni pa ne mogu da uporedim ova dva, ali na osnovu slika mi se čini da su prilično slični.

Today I present you the other Golden Rose Holiday nail polish I got. When I showed you the first one I made a mistake and said that this collection doesn't have same colours as Zoya Pixie Dust collection. In fact, this polish could be a dupe for Zoya Dahlia. Zoya Pixie Dust haven't been imported yet so I can't compare them, but from the pictures I'd say they are very similar.

Lak inventivnog imena 60 u bočici je jasno crn i bogato ispunjen srebrnim šljokicama. Zapravo je tamno siv ispunjen crnim i srebrnim šljokicama. Na noktu se suši do tamno sive/izbledelo crne. Srebrne šljokice se lepo cakle, ali ne suviše upadljivo. Poput broja 58, ovaj lak se nanosi sasvim lako. Pokriva iz jednog sloja, ali ipak su potrebna dva da bi se dobila intenzivnija boja. Suši se veoma brzo. Moram napomenuti da sam prethodni teksturisani lak skidala uz pomoć folije, ali da to uopšte nije potrebno. Skida se kao bilo koji običan lak. Slike su snimljene na dnevnom svetlu. Imam dva sloja laka i nemam nadlak.

In bottle the polish that is creatively named 60 looks clearly black with silver glitter. In fact it is dark grey filled with black and silver glitter. It dries to dark grey/faded black. Silver glitter sparkles nicely, but it isn't over the top. Like number 58, this polish goes on really easily. One coat gives full coverage, but it takes two to get more intensive colour. It dries very fast. I have to mention that I used aluminium foil to remove the previous textured polish, but it was quite unnecessary. It comes off like any other regular polish.
